- Clare Robinson Review added: 2018.10.17★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆The problem with this place is the patrons and the staff who don't care. A night out at the theatre is pricey however as a show lover I'm happy to pay. I won't go to this venue anymore even if it means missing out. Last few shows I've been to have been ruined by drunken idiots. When I complained to staff they didn't do anything. Compare this to the Newcastle theatres where I have seen people removed for making nuisances of themselves. I even sent a letter of complaint and it wasn't even acknowledged. Prices are too high to be unable to hear what is going on and have your night ruined by idiots. It's a shame because it's a beautiful theatre and they get the best shows but their staff need some serious training.
- Robert Lawson Review added: 2018.02.21★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Very polite and efficient staff- and very friendly. Well done. The show was pretty good overall and extremely good in parts. The theatre looked great as usual but the prices in the bar made highwaymen seem reasonable! Nevertheless an enjoyable evening. It was a pity there were so few in the audience but prices were high and times are hard.
